National Shakespeare School Production 2026

National Shakespeare School Production is nearly upon is!

Forty-six talented young students have been selected from the Regional and National SGCNZ VUW Shakespeare Festivals along with a winner from our costume design and music competitions, to attend the prestigious event.

They will be performing a 40-minute adaption from the plays Much Ado About Nothing, Romeo & Juliet and Twelfth Night. The performances are being held at accessible venues on 2 October 7.00-9.45pm at Tāwhiri Warehouse, 11 Hutchinson Road, Wellington or 3 October 7.30-10.30pm at VUW Memorial Theatre, Kelburn Parade, Wellington.
